In traditional European commercial districts, how can brands attract young consumers and social media users with low costs but high visual impact? The renowned German lifestyle aesthetics brand DEGAND provided the perfect answer. At its flagship store on Königsallee (King’s Avenue) in Düsseldorf, it launched an immersive outdoor display titled “Pink Love Reflections.”
The installation consisted of 37 custom inflatable mirror-heart balloons, crafted from highly reflective metallic purple coating material. From dusk until night, these balloons shifted colors with the city lights, enhancing the festive atmosphere while transforming the entire historic building into a “photographable urban art installation.”
